road trip

hey guys, this weekend i will be going on a road trip with my family and my girlfriend will be coming along. I plan on brining my macbook for the long ride and i want to put some fun things on it that me and my girlfriend can do on the way. any recomendations she likes board games and stuff are there any 2 player games like checkers or something that will help pass the time. please let me know of any games/ programs that would be good for a trip in the car. thanks

I don't know of many 2 player games, but here's a few games that are easy to pick up for a few minutes at a time, and lots of fun.

Quinn - a Tetris clone
SNES9X - a SNES emulator (you'll have to find some ROMs), it can do 2 player
Popcap - Popcap makes lots of games, Peggle is pretty fun, but Bejeweled is also great

sweet. thanks guys .. oh another question..i have been using the xbox 360 controller to play snes on my macbook but when i play in the car it can get cluttered because of the adapter. what are some good controllers for mac laptops that arnt as cluttered when traveling? thanks again

Question are you using the wireless xbox 360 controllers or the wired controllers.
