since i put info in iCal, the date won't change until i open iCal after turning on the puter. any thoughts?

Thats the programs original icon when it's not running, it needs to be running to change the icon to the current date.

Well at least it's right one time a year! Wink

You can have it open at startup, therefore changing the date. Control click or right click the icon in the dock and select Open at Login.

that's what i've done.
i just dislike having to close the iCal window every time i turn it on.
