iPhoto Book and Calendar Promotion
Friday, December 28, 2007
Posted by: Brian
I received an email from Apple today with e-coupon codes for 20% off iPhoto books and calendars. This is for a new winter promotion being offered by Apple through the 29th of February. The codes are "NAWinterBook08" for books and "NAWinterCal08" for calendars. You can use these codes after you finish creating your books and calendars in iPhoto to receive the savings. Aperture users may use the same code for buying books. I just thought that I would pass these along. This is always a nice time of the year to put books and calendars together.

It appears so.
Here are the terms and conditions from Apple.
| Quote: | | The e-coupons for Books and Calendars are valid with all versions of iPhoto, which is available as a component of iLife. The e-coupon for Books is valid with all versions of Aperture. The e-coupons have no cash value. The e-coupons may be applied only to iPhoto Books and Calendars, and may not be applied to the purchase of standalone prints, or cards. Each e-coupon may be used multiple times during the offer period. The e-coupon may be applied to the subtotal of the transaction, but not to shipping charges or taxes. Apple reserves the right to deny any use of or disregard any e-coupon that Apple believes to be false or fraudulent. Apple reserves the right to change without notice the Terms and Conditions, modify the offer, or end the offer at any time without notice. This offer is good in the 50 United States and District of Columbia. Offer void where prohibited by law. |

| Here is an embarrassing question from a potential new Mac user. How much does it cost to have a book made? |

| Thanks Bobaloo. I just stumbled upon this website, while searching for information on Google. It looks like a really nice a forum. I'm like 90% sure that I'll be buying a Mac soon, so I should be back with more questions. I just wish Apple computers were less expensive. Even with an educational discount, they are up there a bit. It will also be hard to leave Picasa behind. I've read a lot of nice things about iPhoto, but I'm very comfortable with using Picasa. I wonder if Google will ever come out with a version for Macs? |

I've just gone to buy a book and I'm sure the cheeky sods have put the prices up. I looked before and I could have sworn they were £6.37 for a medium softbook. Now the 20% discount is on the price has gone up to £7.39
I would have paid the £6 odd without the 20% discount, but now I just feel I'm being taken for a mug. It works out about a 40p saving not 20% _________________ Phil

It is dependent on the number of pages as well. If the number of pages is different from when you first checked, then the "cheeky sods" have it right! LOL _________________ Automotive Digital Marketing
