Well, they trample for iBooks, I bet they'd kill for PowerBooks. I would've been in for one too if I lived in Henrico county.

Dude, if I owned a medieval suit of armor, I'd wear it everyday, not just to ward off the Heathen Who Buy Discount Macs.

| People are so crazy! I laugh every year at those people stampeding over each other at day after Thanksgiving sales. It would have been nice to see some rich person (cough Steve Jobs) step in a buy all the iBooks out and give them back to kids in the school district to keep. |

The incident is not funny.
I had to laugh to myself though. These things are 4 years old. I don't think 4 year old Wintel laptops would have got the same response.
One thing that struck me is odd is the newspaper article I read said the laptops sold out at 1pm. That was 5 1/2 hrs or so that these idiots had to make a purchase. I wonder how many were available? (Sorry I didn't read the link if it says so there) |
