For anyone looking for an old version of a Mac app, perhaps to be used on an earlier version of OS X or on OS 8 or 9, I've found a site that might be of some use: http://mac.oldapps.com/

This site is still good value for PPC stuff.

'Pure Mac' is a great site. There's always an app there that's new to me.

The UMich site has been around for AGES, as the dates for the creation of the sub-directories will testify. I remember using FTP to access their archives, way back when I were a lad...

You know, these websites (together with Open Source Mac & Mac Update) should be listed in a sticky that stays at the top of the pile in the 'General Software' forum. Maybe I should suggest this to the moderator?

Oldapps.com came to my rescue. I'd 'upgraded' to Google Earth ver. 4.3 and discovered that the bored kids at Google had 'improved' the user controls in the top-right of the screen; it was now impossible to work out what they were for or how they worked. Great work guys.... Rolling Eyes

Thankfully, Oldapps.com had a copy of 4.2 for download, and common sense has been restored to my Mac.
