I have all my settings in the energy menu to never turn off uncheck the HD option, but When ever i come back from screen saver mode my internet drops off for no reason. All I want my mini to do is go to SS not sleep and leave my internet up. Can someon ehelp me with this? |

Does your Mini disconnect once it goes into screensaver mode or after it comes back from it? I can't tell from your post which it is. _________________ Computer Engineer

| Sorry about that I wish I could tell you which one it is. becuase when I come back from it my msn is trying to reconnect. Also My FTP program has already stopped, and what ever else the needs to be connected to the inet. So short answer is I have no clue I know the router shows a connection the whole time. just no traffic being passed. |

| Under system preferences > security do you have require password to wake this computer from sleep or screen saver checked? Or log out after x minutes of inactivity? |

Well, at least it was an easy fix! Coulda been hardware related and you could go without a Mini for *gasp* a week or more! _________________ Computer Engineer

| Wow! I'm really surprised Apple didn't tell you to check those settings. How did your call end with them since there wasn't a fix? |
