|
Well people, I've managed to convert a fourth person to the Macintosh, and this time I didn't even need to show the convert a Mac to show off the goodness, I just had to mention the magic words "iChat has a Star Wars hologram webcam effect" - she's a bit of a Sci-fi nut you see...
So how many people have YOU converted within the last six months? _________________

Unfortunately, it's been removed in the shipping version of Leopard. You can re-add it with some hacks, but I've not been successful in getting it working. _________________ MacBook Pro 1.83GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM, 250GB HD, Dell 802.11n card, 1.4TB external

Really? Damn. Why'd they do that?
If you're successful with a reinstallation hack, let me know! _________________

Wouldn't that add the Ghost effect, and not the Hologram effect... after all it would be hard to broadcast yourself in a hologram if you're dead.
Unless Apple invents the iSéance to allow us to communicate with the dead.
Hey, that could actually work. Somebody send me a copy of the iPhone SDK when it comes out in February!
Also, my knowledge of Star Wars trivia scares me sometimes! _________________
