| I wish that I lived close to a store like that. Our local store at the mall is pretty small. It's like a hole in the wall. |

I like the MetroCentre (photo) but I doubt whether it could host anything as striking as that store in New York.

A sign from a bar near the new store. I saw it on CNET.

Yes it is!
Although, the older I get, the more I hate going into the city. |

I know what you mean, but I found it necessary to visit the 5th Ave. store when it opened. I went to my local Apple store in the Walt Whitman Mall for the Leopard release and I've got my t-shirt. For those of you not living in N.Y. you must experience the city at least once. _________________ 2.5 GHZ i5 Mac Minu 8Gb Ram

The 5th Ave. store is like the Mecca, especially for tourists. To be honest though, I like the SoHo store better. I find it to be a little more personal. Did you go the grand opening of the new store? |

No I didn't go to the new store opening. I'm trying to figure out which store front it took over. I'll have to look at the address again. _________________ 2.5 GHZ i5 Mac Minu 8Gb Ram

I could be wrong, but I think it was a restaurant with a few smaller shops above. |
