EyeTV updated for Leopard

Elgato has announced the release of EyeTV 2.5.1. This version is fully compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and supports the following key new features of Mac OS X 10.5: Cover Flow, Quick Look, iChat and Spaces.
It also includes the following bug fixes:
- A problem where EyeTV would stall during an update of the electronic programming guide if the network connection was unavailable has been fixed.
- EyeTV 250 Plus can now open multiple live television windows on the same DVB or ATSC multiplex.
- For Freebox, streams with more than 10 radio stations are now supported.
- For computers with multiple active network interfaces, EyeTV's Wi-Fi Access feature now respects the preferred network list in the Network system preference pane.
- EyeTV Wi-Fi Access now works properly with aliases to the EyeTV Archive folder.
- EyeTV Wi-Fi Access now correctly displays EyeTV recording names in non-Latin character sets.
The free update and can be downloaded from the company's website. It weighs in at 49.4MB.

Sounds like yet another awesome update. Just wish I could get some better antenna action going on for my Hybrid.

I would love to use EyeTV but I'm confused about which one to get etc...
can I hook EyeTV up between my Mac Mini and Dish Network HD receiver to watch and record shows?
In high def?
or what? |

Only with the break-out composite or S-Video cable that comes with the Hybrid or 250 Plus. And it will be in SDTV, not HD. |

To add to Scooper's comment, you also need to know if Dish is encrypting their channels. Take a look at this FAQ over on Elgato's website:

Yeah, this was another nice update. I just had the chance to play around with some of the new stuff last night. Quick Look continues to be one of the handiest new features in Leopard. This update just reaffirms my feelings about its worth. It's also slick having Cover Flow in the Archive folder.
