It's good but it's SO glitchy! Looks like a rushed release by Apple... I really hope Apple sorts out these issues. _________________ - MacBook Pro, 15inch, 2.4GHz, 2GB, 160GB HDD, SuperDrive. I Love this Mac!!!!

| I'm somewhat happy. There is a lot to like, but it does feel rushed (even though Apple had two years) and glitchy here and there. I would probably give it a B. |

I think that sums it up. I haven't been using OS X that long, but one could almost say that it's a super Tiger plus pack. It's definitely better than Vista. I say B+. |

Yeh I totally agree, OS X has come a long way from 10.0 Getting better and better, Panther and Tiger were great, lets hope Leopard can join their status too!
And! Anything is better than Vista, even? Dare I say? OS 9? Wow that was fun to use _________________ - MacBook Pro, 15inch, 2.4GHz, 2GB, 160GB HDD, SuperDrive. I Love this Mac!!!!

So far I like it and the new effects are snazzy. I like the speed improvement, too. But there are some interface trade-offs I'm less sure about. I don't care for the translucent menubar, and I miss the opportunity to be able to click on a folder in the Dock and get a hierarchical menu. Finally, I don't like what the Dock does to folders placed in it, changing the appearance of the folder to the first document in it and others behind it. _________________ Mini 1: 2.3 ghz Core i5; 8 gb RAM, Corsair 240gb SSD, 500 gb Seagate XT

I wish there was an option in System Preferences to turn off the translucent menubar.

I don't care for that either. I wish there was a way to pick a default image.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with Leopard. It seems to be off to a nice start.

I don't have Leopard yet, but I don't like the menu bar either.
Oh well. Candybar and numerous others should take care of the visual aspects. |

My sentiments exactly...I"m sure in time you'll be able to change pretty much anything you like, like you can in Tiger...
My 2 cents... _________________ Automotive Digital Marketing

I'll keep an open mind on the visual elements of Leopard. I remember when Apple changed the iTunes logo from green to blue. At first I didn't like it, now I think it looks much better than the green. Go figure |

| I would be "extremely happy" if I could just get my HP Deskjet F340 AIO printer to work. Everything else is awesome! |

No not yet, and I can't even offer you one.
I downloaded it myself, installed it, followed all the instructions, and nada, nothing changed, still transparent bar.
So as of now it is gone, history, whatever.
