I'm looking for an application that will allow me to catalog my software like WinCatalog Light (http://www.wincatalog.com/) does. Most of these are data archives....with WinCatalog I'd insert the media, it would scan then build a list of what was on the disk. If I needed something I'd open WinCatalog then search for the item, the results would tell me what media it was on.
Anything like that for the mac? |

Delicious Library I don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for, but this program builds a library of what you own, books, DVDs, CDs, music, video games, and then lets you search and has a pretty GUI. _________________ Computer Engineer

| DL might work for my library, which is massive. What I need the cataloging stuff for is my archive of pictures/music/software/data/etc that I have spread over a small army of media. All of my papers from college are on a CD, all of my business documents are on a DVD. WinCatalog was cool, it would scan, build a list of files that I could search easily. Pretty handy, I might just load it on my laptop until I can find something for the Mac. |
