ShapeShifter 2.5 Released
Thursday, September 13, 2007
Posted by: Brian
Unsanity has announced the availability of ShapeShifter 2.5, the latest release of the company's software that lets you change the overall appearance of your Mac using "Themes." This update addresses a problem with Apple's Pro applications (Aperture, Logic, Final Cut) and some Cocoa applications, and now works with the Safari 3 beta. There are also miscellaneous bug fixes for theme loading and tweaking. The update is free for all registered users. ShapeShifter is priced at $20, and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

Finally!
It sure took them long enough. Now watch, Apple will release 10.4.11 with a new Safari beta and it will break everything. |

This is great minus one problem.
If your theme isn't compatible with this version you will kill mac os x. I have already had to reinstall my os today. |

What happened? How did it kill it?
Shapeshifter theme components are dynamically loaded by APE. If you simply turn Shapeshifter off in the control panel it should revert? _________________ Mac mini core 2 duo 2.33/2 GB RAM/160 GB 5K160, Dell 20.1" wide-aspect
