Is there proof that it will still be around?
Dang, I thought the education discount would be better. Tiger was only $70. |

That is a major bummer!
If they lower the price in a few weeks, will I get a $100 credit? |

There is an error on the "Qualifying Computers" page for the Leopard Up-to-Date Program when it comes to the Mac mini.
The page lists the MB139LL/A as being 1.83GHz. It should read 2.0GHz. I contacted Apple about the error, so hopefully they will fix it.
Edit: The error has been corrected.

How much is the education discount for 10.5?

Never mind, I found out. Only $116! Wow, 8% discount. |

I'm all ordered up and ready to get going!
It's a shame about the small education discount guys. Apple seems to be getting a little greedy these days. |

| I saw the error of no 2.0 Mini on the qualifying page too. Called Apple store, they said whatever is there is right. I asked if refurbs qualified and they said no but they are not mentioned on the qualifying page that I can see. It mentions that demos and auction items do not qualify. I did not see the word refurbished mentioned. Why not be clearer on their qualifications?? |

My refurb was bought through Apple, and I would be surprised if I don't qualify. However, it's a moot point because I'm buying a family pack and that was the reason I didn't wait in the first place.
Good news for Canadians: Leopard pricing is at par with the U.S. Bad news for me: family pack costs the same in educator pricing as it does for regular pricing. (Single copy is $14 cheaper at $115.) _________________ Mini 1: 2.3 ghz Core i5; 8 gb RAM, Corsair 240gb SSD, 500 gb Seagate XT
