I down loaded an application in the form of a .pdf and when I use Preview.app to open it, it says I have to have Adobe Reader 9.2 or better to be able to see it.
That's odd. Anyone know the reason why? Is it because AR 9.2 will allow you to actually fill in the fields on the application? Seems to me that Preview.app will already allow you to do that. |

Preview may READ adobe pdf files, but I am not sure it actually can run pdf files like an adobe pdf reader, if you have to modify the file by filling in information. Maybe someone can enlighten us on the limitations of Preview to handle pdf files. _________________ Retired: Altair 8800, PET, TI 99/4A, Apple II

Thank you.
and...OOPS.
I just found out why I couldn't see the application. I clicked on the link to fill out the application ONLINE.
I was able to download, view, and print the "hard copy" from the correct link.
