ImageWell 3.2.4 Released
Friday, October 5, 2007
Posted by: Glenn
XtraLean Software today released ImageWell 3.2.4, the latest version of its popular image-editing tool for quick manipulation and upload to the Web. This version adds compatibility with iLife '08 and fixes a bug in the "Save As" option. The standard version of ImageWell is free, but users can also choose to purchase an "Xtras pack" which unlocks additional features for $14.95. ImageWell 3.2.4 requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later. The download weighs in at 926KB.

ImageWell is a nice application but I can't wait to give Skitch a try. I gave them my email like two weeks ago for an invite. How long does it take to get one? Can anyone here help a brother out? |

Yeah... I just got my Skitch invite. It's pretty impressive.
Back on topic though, I'm waiting for Image Well to support saving JPG's with EXIF data intact. I can't believe that there isn't an app for OS X that does this yet. Imageshackle is ok and iPhoto will do it, but I hate having to import an image into my library just to do some image corrections and then have to remove it afterwards.
Please, EXIF support!!! _________________ → craigerskine.com

I could be wrong, but I think CocoViewX's export will keep EXIF intact.

I don't mean to change the subject back to Skitch, but how long did it take for you to get an invite? |

All I need is something with crop, resize, export to PNG and JPEG with color reduction control for PNG and quality control for JPEG (with instant preview).
ImageWell does have the JPEG quality/preview, but I find it a bit akward to use (although I only tried it for about 5 minutes). |

Thanks for the app suggestion... I'll give it a try.
I signed up for a Skitch invite on July 10 and I received the invite on Oct 2. _________________ → craigerskine.com
