| I'm listening to Bruce Springsteen's new album Working On a Dream. It's actually pretty good. I love The Wrestler. That's a great track and movie. I bet it wins best song at the Oscars. |

To Be: Samba For Heino - fusion. a superb example of a cyclic samba bass groove behind fascinating timbales and Rhodes piano..
They played in my club in Steyerberg in 1978. One of my earliest live experiences with fusion. My original album given to me by the band got nicked in Berlin in the days before it was possible to transfer stuff to CD or computers.

Dance of the Hours from La Gioconda (by Ponchielli), a piece I always wanted to rearrange for a fusion combo. I can imagine the oboes being played by a tenor sax against a soft funk grove. _________________ Mac+, SE30, Classic, 4400 (metal), 603, LC475, iMac bondi (3), iBk orange. Ghosty: if you like this, you'll understand why Dave Grusin's version of Fascinating Rhythm always follows it in my play list. _________________ Mac+, SE30, Classic, 4400 (metal), 603, LC475, iMac bondi (3), iBk orange. SaintSäens: The Swan - a bit lugubrious, but soothing.
One of the most talented piano prodigies of his time, he possessed perfect pitch when he was two and almost immediately began composing.
