I've noticed that if you create a poll and leave the date open ended things are good. But once you vote in your own poll it ends the poll.
Maybe I'm just seeing things different on my end. I can understand the poll sending a cookie and not letting you vote again. But, I don't think that is what is happening. I opened up another browser (Firefox) and the poll still seems to appear over. The cookie would have just went into Safari not my entire system... correct? |

I believe it only ends the poll to you. To users who haven't voted yet, they still get to vote as long as the poll remains open. Anyone who votes is automatically shown the current results instead of an option to vote again, even the user who creates the poll.
In the phpbb board that I run that is how the polls are done. I imagine this board, being of the same script, behaves the same way. _________________ Me with Woz!

| Your right, the poll is still going. It just automatically shows me the results, now that I voted. |
