Does anyone have any experience using this device with garage band on a mini ? if so , I'd greatly appreciate any details or advice, good or bad. thanks

I'm hoping to record audio from a variety of sources, instrument and line levels, as well as incorporate midi tracks. Thanks for your reply  |

are you using your mini for recording? i cant imagine using something that's usb for recording. i would imagine you running into latency issues if you're doing more than one or two line levels.
w/ a $400, why not opt for a firewire? firewire doesnt take up as much cpu as the usb.
sounds like the mackie spike is pretty powerful for a small thing. |
