Just purchased Saturday; after a bit of color calibration, the display is super sharp and fast.
Specs:
19" LCD-TFT, 8ms [Yeah! That is fast]
1280x1024@75Hz (Native resolution and refresh)
700:1 contrast
DVI (you'll need to buy a cable )
(no pictures yet, included the link to samsung for now)

I had the 193P Plus. It was incredible. I only returned it because it is a 4:3 instead of 16:10 aspect ratio.
I'm sure you will enjoy your Samsung a lot. |

8 is decent, 16 is considered the standard, and the 4ms response monitors are crazily priced, not worth buying one right now _________________ Gone. |

Isn't 4 ms against the law in some states?
I don't see much ghosting on the ACD's and they're 16 ms. |

If you look at reviews like tomshardware. You'll find that you cant trust the numbers. A 4ms display review didn't fair too well in the real world.
If he hasn't already he will be receiving a Cinema Display to review. |

The timing doesn't matter if they're just measuring black or white to grey instead of black to white or black to black again. Unless you actually know what they're measuring to determine that timing, the measurement is pointless. 25ms LCDs can beat 16ms and 12ms speeds in actual measurements using black to black measurements. _________________ Computer Engineer
