The mac mini only comes with two usb ports. I need about 6. I don't want to buy a mac keyboard which only has 2 and besides i have a good keyboard anyway. What is the CHEAPEST way to get more USB ports?? I have seen that mini shack thing but I can't buy online. Is there anything cheaper than that, maybe something you could buy at your local electronic store maybe??
Any help will be apreciated!
Thanks

How about just getting a regular USB Hub. You should be able to get a 5 or 6 port one from any radioshack or other computer/electronics store. It won't look as pretty as the ones that are built specifically for the mini, ut it'll do the trick.

I know that Sam's Club carries an awesome travel USB hub that's about the size of the foil packs of gum. It gives you four more USB ports, but takes away one, so you'll have 5 then. Most hubs are like this, though. It costs about $15 I think there. CostCo has some too, I think. I'd recommend looking there if you're a subscriber as they're good quality hubs for cheap.

Why buy 1 hub for $15, when you can get 50 for $100? Very Happy

HeHe just kidding, I like going to CostCo with my mom, they've got lots of great deals on certain electronics. Plus in the food section they always have samples Razz
