Yes you can connect a USB printer to a Mac mini. Check to make sure there is a printer driver available (which there likely is). If you need more USB ports you can purchase many USB hubs. There are some available to complement the mini, like this this one. |

As mentioned you can just hook a USB capable printer up either directly or through a hub. Another alternative is to use a network printer (either WiFi or ethernet attached to your router or switch). That will spare you the use of additional USB ports and allow you to share the printer with other computers on your network. _________________ 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

I don't like using printers wirelessly. Maybe it's just my printer but if my sister does ANYTHING during the print from her laptop, the printer goes hay wire and starts printing out lots of pages that are either blank or have wierd symbols on em _________________ Gone. |

Then I would say you (or more specifically, your Sisters Laptop) have a configuration issue. I would not generalize it as a "wireless" problem. _________________ 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

I would agree that it is PROBABLY a configuration issue. It wouldn't suprise me at all if this really was wireless related. Have you tried printing from your sister's laptop when it's directly connected, WC3_Gamer? _________________ Computer Engineer

Nope. I don't know, I mean, it doesn't matter, she's going away to college in a few weeks and will have her own printer, we already have it but didn't want to take it out of the box till we take it to her dorm. _________________ Gone. |
