First of i dont live in the us and the apple service here isnt that great.
I just got a mini and ive got an old apple monitor. Was bought at the same time as a 7100 model (almost 10 years ago)
model number is m2978. is there some converter around or should a i buy a cable to hook the monitor and mini up directly?
buying a new monitor isnt exactly in the plans right now |

What kind of monitor is it? VGA? get the DVI to VGA adapter if that's the case. _________________ Gone. |

I Googled the m2978 and it appears to be a Mac Multiple Scan 15. Is that correct? If so, I believe that it is a VGA DB15 connector. Check your monitor to be sure. If so, the Mini comes with a DVI-VGA adapter which should support connecting your monitor with a VGA component DB15 cable. _________________ 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
