How about a "mini display". I would like a small display, the same size as the mini. Just for controlling things like itunes etc. A small flip up LCD, that when closed looks like a thin mini. Just another slice in a stack of mini components,

Most Portable DVD players out there are pretty affordable and have video inputs, either S-Video or Composite... and I'm sure there are VGA > S-Video adapters/converters out there, so that could be an option. _________________ Me with Woz!

It wouldn't surprise me if someone made a small display for the mini, but it won't be Apple. Apple isn't going to make a small run product like that.
If someone does make this product they had better get it to market first. Those 1000 or so people who would buy this product will do so right away and that will be the end of it. |

What are you guys looking for? Just a small touchscreen, probably 4-7" or so that would plug in through USB and provide an OSD with controls and such?
They also have LCD grid displays like on microwaves, though they're nicer and aren't limited to groups of "8"s. That would work for displaying iTunes information, though if you're looking for a good use for an extra LCD, it will merely be for displaying extra information, and not actually for controlling anything unless it's like what I described above.
Or do you just want a small display that you would use as a primary display for a Mini that would be used as a server, so in case you needed to work on it you could easily because it has a small display, though it wouldn't be for daily use? _________________ Computer Engineer
