Hasta la vista pops! Don't let the door hit you where the good lord split you!
I'm glad it didn't take Apple long to come up with a fix. In the end, I bet this all related to some new energy saving technique for portables that failed. |

I've noticed the same thing happening with my LaCie Porsche drives since upgrading to 10.4.10. It takes four times as long to transfer files with USB now. I think I'm going to reinstall Tiger this weekend. I just hope 10.4.10 isn't a sign of things to come in Leopard. It has to be one of the worst updates ever. |

Very odd...
After 10.4.10, my adio got kind of screwy. system sounds would only ever come from the inbuilt speaker, and all other audio, would go through my USB speakers. Now matter how many times I rebooted, and double-checked everything.
Now, it's MUCH better!! |

| OK, so dumb question, but I'm not having any audio issues, so this is the best I could come up with. Why is this release called 10.4.10 v1.1 instead of 10.4.11? I thought I understood how they number their updates until recently. |

A v1.1 just means we messed up the first time.
I would assume that Apple didn't feel it was worthy of a point release because it was just repackaged with the audio update. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

UGH!!!! I've had it with 10.4.10!!!!!! Now my finder is crapping out. I've tried various ways to fix it. Through a bit of research I've found it stems from the recent update. Plus with the USB audio problems. I just bought a fresh WD 500gb and I'm going to do a clean install and go back to 10.4.9. _________________ MacMini 2.0GHz C2D (2009)
