Not that I have an iPhone or will have one anytime real soon (my contract with nextel has one more year on it), but does anyone know if this little headset works for the ipod mp3 player in the phone or just for phone calls. the description on the apple site isn't very descriptive.

i am not 100% sure but, according to various other forums/sites I've read it works with the cellular part only. You would need to carry headphones with you as well. The iPhone has a very limited version of Bluetooth that doesn't even allow data transfer or stereo audio.  Not a big deal for me, I don't even use any headset with my iPhone...yet!
