Cooliris has announced PicLens Beta 1.5 for Safari, a free browser plug-in that instantly transforms your browser into an immersive, full-screen slideshow experience that goes beyond the confines of the traditional browser window. PicLens 1.5 works with Flickr, Facebook, Google Images, Yahoo Images, and just added support for Picasa Web Albums, Friendster, and any website that supports Media RSS. Other new features include the ability to search Google Images and Yahoo Images within a full-screen PicLens environment in just about any language. Seamless multi-page browsing is also enabled for these two image search engines. PicLens 1.5 also adds support for Safari 3.0.
