| Question about the free thing, it was supposed to be free through august BUT that was when Leopard was coming out in June. I wonder if we now have more time now that Leopard is'nt coming out till October. |

I think the terms have pretty much stayed the same. You are looking at September 30th unless they extend it.
| Quote: | The term of this License shall commence upon your installation or use of the Apple Software and will terminate automatically without notice from Apple upon the next commercial release of the Apple Software, or September 30, 2007, whichever occurs first. Your rights under this License will also terminate automatically without notice from Apple if you fail to comply with any term(s) of this License. Upon the termination of this License, you shall cease all use of the Apple Software and destroy all copies, full or partial, of the Apple Software.

How do you think this will effect systems that already have Boot Camp installed after the expiration date? _________________ 1.66Ghz Intel Core Duo + 1GB Ram + 80GB HD + TripLite B022-002-KT-R KVM + Bose Roommate II Speakers (circa 1990)

It will make your Mac mini self-destruct like something out of Mission Impossible!
Just kidding. Here it is straight from the horse's mouth.
"The Windows installation on a user's Mac will continue to work after the Boot Camp license expires," said Apple spokeswoman Lynn Fox, in response to a query from CNET News.com. However, Fox said the Boot Camp Assistant software, which helps set up and manage Windows partitions, will not work after the beta period ends. Also, Fox said that Apple will not provide further driver updates for beta users."
