Looks like I have alot of more listening to do to contend with the big guns.
I think my iTunes has a little and non-threatning problem. It says I have about 104 days of music, but I only have about 2,000 songs, and I have no videos. Does anybody know how to fix?

Do you have any lengthy podcasts that you have saved? And not to say you haven't checked but; it doesn't say 10.4 days, does it?
Edit: I see you label now that does say 104. That is puzzling. _________________ Mac Book 2.1 Ghz (Penryn) 10.6.4 4Gb DDR2

| Yeah, very odd. I have no podcasts, strictly music (songs in MP3's). |

I would hazard a guess that there is something you can do through Terminal to repair that. What that would be I don't know. I am thinking that for some reason iTunes is computing the total time of the tracks using an incorrect reference point. Perhaps a more knowledgeable member can assist. I will check around myself and see what I can find. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance. _________________ Mac Book 2.1 Ghz (Penryn) 10.6.4 4Gb DDR2

| That's more than fine, you don't need to waste your time on finding info. I'll do that myself, since it really isn't that big of a deal. I just wanted to point it out to see if anyone else has the same bug. Thanks for your input. |

I found this article which may explain why the time is incorrect.

No problem. Their explanation sounds very reasonable. _________________ Mac Book 2.1 Ghz (Penryn) 10.6.4 4Gb DDR2

Mine too. I've already added around 6GB of music since I got my external hard drive about a week ago. I love the extra storage, and the fact knowing you don't need to save space! |
