| I've got my mini hooked up to an 18" Dell LCD. Works great! I know I'm not answering your specific question, but thought I'd throw my 2 cents in. |

| Be careful with the 2005fpw. I've been reading that alot of people have been having backlight bleeding and dead pixel issues. Just thought I'd warn ya. |

My Parents have a 17" Dell LCD display and the viewing angles aren't that hot on it. I suggest you see the Dell in person before buying it. I would recommend Apple, Samsung or Viewsonic over Dell.
Best of Luck! |

Dell Monitors are really good for the money. 500 Bucks for a 20" LCD can't be beat. I wish Apple would drop the price on their Monitors another 100 bucks or more. |

Make sure any display you buy 18" or up has a response time of 16ms or lower or you'll have bad ghosting. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

Just took a look at that LCD display. If was paying that kind of money for a wide-aspect display, it would HAVE to do WUXGA resolution (1920x1200). (I had the 1920x1200 native resolution on my Dell Inspiron and I've been spoiled ever since!!) _________________ -=iMav=-

Yes, but I was going to use the monitor mostly to view full-screen MPEG2 movies (both SD and HD) , so I was wondering if this would work better than the 2005FPW for this, as it also has DVI inputs. |

FWIW: I have my mini hooked up to a 2005FPW, and it works great. Don't seem to have the blacklight or pixel issues some folks have.
It is very bright, even at lowest brighness setting, but I am living with that... |
