| No, Folding@Home has been off for more than an hour now while I've been surfing and the fan's not let up a bit. |

| Since the newest security update, my fan spins right down when I close Folding@Home. Pretty good news. Before it would just go full out when on, and then stay on, no matter what, until a reboot reset the process. Now I can hear it spin up under cpu loads and then spin down when the load is past. Good News! |

I have to agree with that.
Its is true that fan speed goes up slowly,
and cuts off DIRECTLY!!!!!
try it with some heavy applications!
With that security update, apple had triggered with the OSX core. |
