Apple Releases Security Update 2007-005 [Updated:]

Apple has released Security Update 2007-005 via Mac OS X's Software Update utility and on the Web. According to the company, Security Update 2007-005 is recommended for all users and improves the security of the following components: Bind, CarbonCore, CoreGraphics, crontabs, fetchmail, file, iChat, mDNSResponder, PPP, ruby, screen, texinfo, and VPN. The update for Intel-based Macs weighs in at 29.2MB, and can be found here. The update for PPC-based Macs weighs in at 15.7MB, and can be found here.

| I had some trouble with Adium after applying the update. Repaired the permissions and all is well now. |
