As of a few minutes ago when I looked at the memberlist and search by # of posters. We should see who can get to the 4 digits quicker lol _________________ Gone. |

It's not about total posts but # of posts per day. Okay, no, I'm just kidding.
It's REALLY about meaningful posts and actually helping people out. _________________ Computer Engineer

I agree. Just keep up the quality posts. I recommended on another forum that the site give a sticker eg. for posting to increase traffic. But many thought that was a bad idea, because people start posting without really contributing.
What I would like to see is people trying to stay on topic to a thread or starting a new thread. It's not a big deal for those who visit often, but for people just checking out the site or if you want to reference something. The site has less value.
Another thing I would like to see is people using better descriptions in their thread title.
Example:
Please help...(bad)
Mini fan stays on after 10.4.2 install (good)
This might seem to be a bit off topic, but really isn't. A better site results in more members and more posts.

Definitely agree with you there. We have a few threads where there is little in the latter posts that has anything to do with the original topic. It does make it difficult for people to find useful content. Of course I think some of these threads just by their sheer size start to dissintegrate under their own weight. Sometimes as you said its better to just start a new thread. _________________ 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
