Interesting discussion--the Apple TV pages on Apple.com are the style of page used when multiple models are sold.
Even more interesting discussion in the comments, where people debate whether our beloved mini will be replaced with a higher-end Apple TV model.
I can really see this happening. It makes a certain sense from a product-line consolidation standpoint, which is Apple's historic tendency.

| It's probably just for another model or two with larger hard drives if anything at all. I don't think Apple would come out with a new Apple TV two weeks after it's been released. |

Here's how they can consolidate the lines. Slap a HDMI port on the back of the Mac mini, lower the price by an hundred and call it day.  |

good idea, plus have osx 10.5 have a feature built in to be able to alter the resolution on the fly a la resolutionX or whatever its called. |

i read somewhere that Apple had applied for patents which looked like a 2nd generation Apple TV which acted very much like a digital hub. Interesting to see what the future brings
