If so (and you have a minute or two), I'd like to hear your thoughts, especially with using online bill pay.
When I switched to my mini (a few weeks ago), I initially tried to find a way to import my ~7 years of Money data -- and failed. So since then, I've been using my mini 99% of the time, but having to switch back to my PC to run Money. I've also tried to run it via Virtual PC on my mini, but even on an external firewire drive, I wasn't impressed with how long it takes to start the Virtual PC.
This afternoon I decided to start fresh with Quicken, and create all of my accounts from scratch. It wasn't as easy as I thought (my online accounts downloaded several months worth of transactions, which I didn't want), but after some futzing, I've got everything there and am going to force myself to use Quicken for the next month and see how it goes.
Just curious if anyone else has been down this road before. |

I used Quicken on Windows but according to Monydance.com, their program will import QIF files that MS Money can export. I tried it with my Quicken QIF file and imported all 7 accounts that I had and the balances where the same.
Moneydance is a Java app and can run on multiple OS's. It costs $29.99 and upgrades are $14.99 according to the site. |

I found some financing freeware; You might want to try this out. SpendThrift Looks intriguing. I might give it a try, we'll see. _________________ Computer Engineer

I used Money on my PC and want to use Quicken on my Mac. Quicken has a tool for PC that will convert your files over BUT you have to have Quicken on your PC to work . No fun. _________________ Sincerely,
