Apple today released iTunes 7.1.1 via Mac OS X's Software Update utility and on the Web. According to the company, "iTunes is the world's best way to organize and enjoy your personal digital music and video collection with your Mac. iTunes is also the easiest way to sync music, videos, and more with your iPod. With iTunes, easily create a digital music and video collection by importing your personal music CDs or downloading your favorite songs and videos from the iTunes Store. Create your own playlists, perfect for any mood or occasion. Burn playlists to CDs and play them on your home stereo, or sync iPod with iTunes and enjoy your collection in your car or on the go." iTunes 7.1.1 also addresses a stability issue and minor compatibility problems in iTunes 7.1.

I got excited for a second that this update might address the blurry anti-aliasing issue in Cover Flow that some of us have been talking about. Unfortunately, it didn't fix it. I guess there's always hope for 7.1.2. |

That's unfortunate. I also thought that this update would help out that problem, but I guess not. Why such and early update? |

| My TV show episodes in the group by artwork view were all messed up. 7.1.1 put them all back in order. That's good enough for me. |

A track has to be listened to in its entirety for it to now register in play count. Previously clicking on the last second would tick the play count over.
