The Apple TV looks more attractive then the SLing solution. I like the Apple ID.
Got 2 HD displays and want to add the Apple TV to the system which already includes 2 other HDMI sources ( a cable box, and PS3).
I can add the Apple TV to a http://octavainc.com/HDMI%20switch%203x2%20port.html
and share it and switch it to both HD displays. I can run 2 separate video sessions at any time and view it simulaneously. |

| That should work out for you. I'm going to buy one of those XtremeMac 4-Port HDMI switches that match the Apple TV for $99. I don't need to go out to two different displays. I just need more ports. My 42" Hitachi only has three HDMI ports and I already have something going to every one of them. |
