Am I the only one who finds the iPod nano amazingly unsuitable for nighttime listening? For starters, the backlight can't be dimmed (only turned on and off), so if you're listening to it in the dark, you have the option to either have your retinas blasted out by the bright light, or to fumble around in the dark.
It would have been nice if they provided a little bump or marking so you could feel where the four corners of the wheel are, too (so you could actually find the menu, rewind, FF and stop buttons without having your fingers mess up your volume settings (yes, I know you can limit how high the volume goes, but it still can decrease your volume while you're fumbling). |

Most of the skins and cases out there have cutouts for the click wheel. They can help you feel out where the click wheel is in the dark. This is one reason why I still love the 3G. The sunken-in buttons and click wheel ruled. The lights were cool too. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

I loved the 3G design. The touch buttons were amazing to play with, If only they still had this option. You never know, they might come back to this type of thinking. |

Er...
1) I have a nano and
2) Kind of more than what I was looking for.
But that's pretty cool, in an adolescent sort of way! |
