| I wonder if you'll be able to set up Internet sharing and directly connect the Mac mini to an Apple TV using Ethernet? I'm talking sans a router. I know it's early, but has anybody heard anything about this? |

Yes, you can, according to the Apple rep I overheard someone talking to at Macworld.
You're also able to do it via wireless Mac to wireless tv (ad-hoc network). _________________ MacBook Pro 1.83GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM, 250GB HD, Dell 802.11n card, 1.4TB external

| That's great! I think a direct connect via Ethernet will give me the best transfer rates. I would go through my Linksys router, but all the ports are being used. I'm heading off to the Apple store and ordering one. I just hope the ship dates aren't getting pushed back too far. |
