Which one would you rather have?
Be honest now! |

80GB iPod touch.
The Zune may have a better screen and hardware, but I still think the iPod classic still wins with its software integration (iTunes), GUI and clickwheel. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

I would be in that camp.
I really want an Apple hard drive based player with a 3.5" screen in the worst way. |

Or step it up to a 4" tablet where the entire face is a screen and the home button on the top. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."

That might be a little big in your pocket. I think the 3.5" screen and overall size of the iPod touch is perfect. I saw one at Best Buy last weekend. Man they are incredibly thin and sexy. It just needs some more GD storage capacity for something in that price range. |

I hate to say this, but I think that I would rather have the 80GB Zune.
Beyond the iPod touch, I'm sort of bored with the current crop of iPods. A Clickwheel and small screen. Been there, done that. I'm not necessarily saying the Zune is any better. It's just something different. |

I would get a Zune on condition I either install OS X or Linux on it...
Otherwise...it might come in handy as a meat tenderiser....

I would definitely be in the "neither" category.
but given the choice of Zune 80 or iPod Classic it would have to be the iPod. _________________ Phil

NIETHER, I used to have an 80gb ipod. Thankfully my buddy @Apple told me the new ones were to be released in the beginning of Sept. I quickly sold it for almost as much as I paid for it. Now that I only have an iPhone, I can't fathom why I ever wanted/needed more space.I have 9 full lenght movies and a few thousand songs on my phone with 2gb space free to load apps.

I'll be getting an iPod touch just for the coolness factor and the size. I don't need that much space on my iPod, right now I've got a 20gb 4G iPod. I have a lot of music on my Mini, but it's not on my iPod since I am changing lists and songs on my iPod regularly. I'd like to get an iPhone but that will wait until it can be used with other providers. _________________ 2.5 GHZ i5 Mac Minu 8Gb Ram

Yeah, it's looking more and more like the iPod touch for me too. Especially with the reported slow GUI and disk-spinning bug iPod classic owners are reporting about. I've heard many people say the iPod classic is the worst iPod they have ever owned. |
