VMware Fusion 1.1 Beta Released

VMware has announced the release of the Fusion 1.1 Beta. VMware Fusion is a desktop application that lets you create and run virtual machines on your Intel-based Mac. According to the company, "If you have already purchased VMware Fusion 1.0, your existing serial number will work with VMware Fusion 1.1. It will automatically be displayed in the VMware Fusion 1.1 Beta installer. If you have not purchased VMware Fusion 1.0, you can use the temporary serial number on the download page."

I had no problems making the transition from 1.0 to the beta. It seems to be running nicely. I'm so happy that I switched from Parallels. Fusion just feels faster and more stable. Plus I think VMWare is a more polished company with better support. I cannot tell you how many times Parallels support left me hanging.
