Okay, the European iPhone will probably come out tomorrow morning (GMT) and it'll probably be on the O2 provider...

Anyway shorten it down. I want a iPhone but i don't want to use it on O2, is it okay to unlock it? Will it brick it or void the warranty? Because i want to use pay as you go and i like Virgin Mobile Very Happy

Anyway, thanks for the help Very Happy

Once O2 realise how badly they've been screwed by Apple, they'll wish they hadn't "got the iPhone" either.

Well i've searched round and it looks like i could just go a buy a US iPhone (which is cheaper) and unlock it. I don't really mind if software updates overwrite hacks.

So would anyone here buy an unlocked iPhone?
