I think it'sa pity one cannot opt for a 2.0 (or faster) without the DVD-DL rewritable and bigger drive. (I own those extra's via Firewire) Actually I'd like a faster processor, more RAM, a 7300 rpm HD, instead of a DVD burner and a bigger disc... So I'm still doubting: a 1.83 or a 2.0? I'l have the time until Leopard comes out... _________________ ___________________Jim©

|
|
I am in the process of switching my family back to Macs after spending many years on Windows machines. I purchased a MacBook for my son last fall and he loves it. Last week, I purchased a 20" silver/black iMac for my wife and she is extremely happy and the speed of which bootcamp runs windows is awesome. I am now down to me and my budget is running low. I am wanting a Mac so bad and I was considering the Mini in its fastest configuation. My alternative was to buy a MacBook and use it as a desktop when I wasn't using it on the road.
Can anyone offer some advice?
Thanks,
Larry |

Yes,
