I think wi-fi will is a given for the 6G iPod. If for no other reason, it will be to match Microsoft with the Zune.

I hope so. To me, that's the coolest feature about the Zune.

I think it's the only feature that's cool, unless you always want something bulky and brown in you pants.

Hey, moving on from FM tuners... hows about a DAB tuner? Digital Radio on the go! Brilliant! Very Happy

With Wi-Fi they could add internet radio like they have in iTunes, that would be nice to have when I'm at home or a St. Louis Bread Company (Panera Bread is the national chain) and listen to it there before I go see a movie (right next door, I love downtown Belleville).

how about a DAB/FM then when your somewhere you cant get DAB you have FM

and i have notice FW400 being faster when transfering files to ANYTHING!

it took longer to transfer a 10 track slayer album to a 5g ipod with usb2 than a 3g ipod with firewire

so how about an ipod that supports FW 800/400 and usb 1.1 and 2.0

Maybe a daft one, but I would love a internal speaker in the iPOD.

Plenty of time's I've just wanted to listen to something, but haven't wanted to carry it around with me and wear the head phones.

I have a base station at home with built in speakers and at work I end up just plugging some old computer speakers in. So a built in speaker would be great Sad even if its only mono. I don't care about it needing to be ultra thin and light weight, I hardly ever carry it in my pocket Razz

oh and I agree on the FM radio. DAB is a bit power hungry though and would eat the battery

I would love to see Sirius come to the iPod, but I doubt that it will ever happen. Streaming radio would be cool as well.

Well, it happened. iPod Touch, iPod Classic, redesigned iPod nano. I was hoping for a 2 GB iPod Shuffle, but I will be getting an iPod Touch in about 2 years. Sweet.
