Some people make there own homepages, some use Google, Yahoo or AOL, but there are other option out there like PageFlakes! So what do you use for your home page?
I have been using Google as my homepage but have started playing with PageFlakes which may just replace my Google page! _________________ 13' Macbook 2.0ghz C2D w/2gb RAM and 120gb HD

I just have a blank page, helps Safari load up a bit faster and typically i don't always want to use the first page that loads. _________________ - MacBook Pro, 15inch, 2.4GHz, 2GB, 160GB HDD, SuperDrive. I Love this Mac!!!!

Well the first page that Safari displays is Yahoo.co.uk because that's the webmail service that I use, but there's a problem here; Yahoo's "news" service frequently confronts me with headlines about Madonna going house-hunting or Victoria Beckham's latest blah blah blah. And I'm about as interested in them as they are in me.
So I'm glad that LouieMacGoo has brought my attention to PageFlakes. Picking and choosing what appears on my default page is going to solve my Victoria Beckham problem.
(Off Topic: I was talking to people about 6 or 7 years ago about personalised homepages for WAP phones when they came out. A major complaint was that useful WAP sites were hard to find and type in, so I thought that a default page of info that was useful to the user would be A Good Thing. But chatting about it doesn't get it done so it never happened. Which wasn't a big deal because WAP phones didn't really happen either.) _________________ Intel Mini 2.0GHz C2D (4GB/120GB/SuperDrive/10.5.8 ), 120GB WD Passport, Logitech ergo k/b

(Other)
I don't use a "home" page as I keep quite a few tabs open and use SessionSaver, a plugin for firefox to remember all the tabs between sessions. |

I don't like Yahoo search, but they have that same feature on their homepage now. Newegg does the same thing with product searches. |

Don't use Google, it wastes power .

Check out Blackle:
http://www.blackle.com/
I wish Google made it an option since in Firefox this would go great with the RedShift V2 theme I'm using. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."

| Www.Blackle.com doesn't save power, if you are using a LCD screen the back light is on even when displaying blacks. |

It still doesn't require the same intensity of brightness for the background. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."
