Cinnamon Peripherals today announced the CinnaMount mini Industrial Edition, a low-cost alternative to plastic mounts for the Mac mini. According to the company, "The new mount, a simplified version of the Silver Edition, allows Mac mini owners to mount their Mac mini and Mac mini-sized external hard drives under their desks. Made of raw, non-anodized aluminum, it's a lot thinner than plastic mounts, which are usually 1/4" thick." The new mount also features the same open design as the CinnaMount mini, which allows access to the side USB and FireWire ports on the NewerTech miniStack V2/V3 and LaCie mini Hard Drive & Hub. The kit also includes a mount for the Mac mini's power supply. The CinnaMount mini Industrial Edition is priced at $33 (35$ CAD).

| I wonder if black paint would stick to one of these with the right paint and primer? |

It appears to be out of stock with no date listed for them to come back in. The silver model says that it will be available in September. I wonder if the black one was discontinued? |

The Black Limited Edition is still in stock, however most of them have anodization problems, surface scratches, etc. If you want a few units I can check the inventory to try and find some units without flaws, but the slightest defect shows up immediately on black anodization.
I will be putting up a few units for sale in a few days, at a discount (because of the aesthetic defects). |

I wish these were easy to get in the UK... Thinking of buying my Mini soon and I'd love to mount it under my desk!
How much do these work out imported (has anyone got one in the UK)? |

I can ship to the UK, no problem. I don't know about taxes and import fees, but shipping is around 13$ for the UK. |
