Has anyone here upgraded their collection yet? I only have about $16.50 worth of upgrades so I might do it when I finally get a Mac and then upgrade all my collection which should only take a few hours. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."

I really don't buy much from the iTMS anymore. I'm all about ripping my own stuff. I also like having the actual CDs and DVDs in my collection. |

I don't buy much from the iTS, but from what I do own, none of it is available in plus form yet. _________________ MacBook Pro 1.83GHz Core Duo, 2GB RAM, 250GB HD, Dell 802.11n card, 1.4TB external

Only 44 of my songs and 8 music videos are upgradeable, I will do it but when I do that my entire ripped collection is getting upgraded, in my collection I have 828 purchased songs (good majority is free downloads I haven't gone through and badly need too for space) and 115 purchased music videos. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."

I do buy from the iTunes store but I'm not going to upgrade. It's obvious that "FREE" is important for many here, but for my needs, I don't need to upgrade. _________________ 2.5 GHZ i5 Mac Minu 8Gb Ram

Ok, I will admit to being cheap.
I only had a couple dollars worth of upgrades, so I upgraded them. I really just wanted to see what the process was like. |

I've done the upgrade, after a day at work handling Windows issues/users I was reminded about what a nice experience working with Apple software is when iTunes Plus seemlessly upgraded my music.
It tells you just what it will do with your old DRMed versions of the files.
It's the little things like this that make the user experience for me. |

Wow I went through all my free stuff from iTunes and deleted 700MB worth (most of it had no play count). _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."

I really don't have much from iTunes, but I said that I might. It would just involve more work than I want to do, as my account is set up for a different computer than my music is really on, and I don't want to set anything up.

I would like to add to this idea the fact that using your own CDs and DVDs, you can get higher quality, which is worth it. _________________ The direct use of force is such a poor solution to any problem, it is generally employed only by small children and large nations.

| I don't purchase music through iTunes anymore either, so I'm not too mad about upgrading to iTunes Plus. |

Well after going through my music I've deleted a total of 1.3GB of free downloads that have been in my library for months and never listened to and I realized why. Also, I've started using my Plantronics headset for listening to music since I play online games at night when there is little voicecom going on and realized why I spent $40 on it. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."
