Apple has released iMovie 7.0.1 via Mac OS X's Software Update utility and on the Web. According to the company, this update addresses issues associated with publishing to .Mac Web Gallery. It also improves overall stability and addresses a number of other minor issues. iMovie 7.0.1 requires iMovie 7.0 and Mac OS X 10.4.9 or later. The download weighs in at 9MB.

| I'm not a big fan of iMovie '08, but the update went smoothly. |

| I hate to say this, but I've been thoroughly disappointed with iLife '08 so far. Most of this disappointment centers on iMovie '08. I don't use iMovie that much, but when I do, it will continue to be with iMovie HD 6. They seriously dumbed iMovie '08 down for mainstream appeal and Mac newbies. It's even worse than some of that crappy software that comes for free with a video camera. |

That along with plug-in support would be nice. I don't see it happening anytime soon though. Can you say iLife '09! |

| I'm excited for iLife '08. From the looks of it on the keynote, I think I will like it a lot. |

I should be updating in another hour or so. My new mini is "out for delivery". _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)
