Adium 1.1 Released
Monday, August 13, 2007
Posted by: Glenn

The Adium team has announced the release of Adium 1.1, a free instant messaging application for Mac OS X that can connect to AIM, MSN, Jabber, Yahoo and more. New to this release are tab controls that let you arrange tabs on any side of the message view; tabs that display a chevron to indicate overflows; spring-loaded tabs; and the ability to have each tab display the number of unread messages. Adium 1.1 also features a "prettier" interface and includes support for "Nudge" on MSN and "Buzz" on Yahoo. You can view the complete change log for it here. Adium 1.1 requires Mac OS X 10.4.0 or later.

Nope. I wonder if it will ever come? It must be uber hard for them to work out. I like being able to have my tabs on the side though. Smile

Thought so, will stick with aMSN for the mean time. Shame because Adium is better in all other aspects.

This was added in this new version:

Toolbar button to send nudge/buzz (notification) (#6635)
Added events for nudge/buzz (notification)

I don't see any new button in my Toolbar to send a nudge/buzz for Yahoo buddies. Am I missing something...???

Sad
