Apple has released Pro Application Support 4.0.1 via Mac OS X's Software Update utility and on the Web. According to the company, this update improves general user interface reliability for Apple's professional applications and is recommended for all users of Final Cut Studio, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Soundtrack Pro, DVD Studio Pro, Aperture, Final Cut Express HD, Soundtrack, Logic Pro and Logic Express. The update weighs in at 7.6MB, and requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

I really enjoy using aperture but i have never really used the pro support software with it because even though you have to have it installed they never tell you why or what they are truly updating.

I applied it for Aperture, but haven't noticed any real differences or improvements.
