Adium 1.0.5 Released
Tuesday, July 10, 2007
Posted by: Glenn
The Adium team today announced the release of Adium 1.0.5, a free instant messaging application for Mac OS X that can connect to AIM, MSN, Jabber, Yahoo and more. "This last planned release of the 1.0.x series fixes a big handful of bugs and so is a recommended download for all Adium 1.0 users. Adium 1.1, the next major release which has been in development for the past year, will drop OS X 10.3 support, targeting OS X 10.4+ so we can bring you more of the shiny," writes Evan Schoenberg of the Adium team. A lot of the fixes and improvements in Adium 1.0.5 focus on MSN support, but you can view the complete change log here. Adium 1.0.5 requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.

| Does anyone know if file transfering works in Adium with Yahoo clients? It never worked for me with previous versions of Adium. I just downloaded this latest version, and I can now send files to myself, as a test (which didnt even work in previous versions). I still can't send files to others on my yahoo buddy list. Do they have to have to be using Adium too? Guess that is a dumb question... I guess the answer is obviously yes, but I thought I would ask here just to be sure. |
